Bob Reder, Vanderbilt law professor and retired partner & consulting attorney at Milbank Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. He became a partner in the firm in 1987 and was co-leader of the firm's global corporate practice group from 2005-09. Professor Reder represented clients from a variety of industries, including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and technology, in M&A and capital market transactions, and advised them on a variety of corporate governance matters.


Mr. Reder is an editorial advisor and a frequent contributor to The Corporate Counsel, a professional journal and is a member of the American and New York State Bar Associations. At Vanderbilt, Professor Reder has taught courses in transactional M&A practice, corporate governance and commercial drafting. He has previously taught Current Issues in Transactional Law, an intensive course in structuring private M&A transactions.


Mr. Reder received his B.A. from Williams College and his J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School.
