Mike MacKay was named President, Next, a position he has held since November 2016.
He joined think and code in March 2014 as Vice President, Cross Platform Businesses. In that role, he was responsible for commercial operations with a focus on driving direct and indirect growth.
Previously, he held a number of leadership roles during his near 15-year tenure at L.P. developing international experience. As Chief of Staff for ’s Chief Operating Office, MacKay helped establish the group’s strategy and manage day-to-day operations. In a similar capacity, he was Chief of Staff for 's Data Products business, managing the central office with responsibility for shared services, organizational design, business planning, project management, business reporting, and integration of new businesses. Here, MacKay worked closely with the leadership teams across Global Data, Data Solutions, Data Acquisition, and the Industry Verticals.
MacKay joined in Global Data in New Jersey where he held various positions. In 2004, he relocated to Hong Kong to serve as head of Global Data for North East Asia, building out 's localized coverage in the region. In 2008, he moved to New York as global head of Exchange Business Management, which provides relevant exchange pricing and market data. In 2010, he was named global head of Data Acquisitions Implementations, with responsibility for contributed over-the-counter pricing and third-party research.
MacKay has a bachelor’s degree in business communications from Calvin College.
